Men's Golf Set to Participate in Windon Memorial

NORTHFIELD, ILL...After a week off from tournament play, the Kent State men's golf team returns to action the next two days, traveling to the Midwest to play in the Windon Memorial hosted by Northwestern University.
Two weeks ago, the Golden Flashes got off to a fantastic start to begin the year, placing 2nd as a team at the Gopher Invitational.
Head Coach Jon Mills's club had a trio of top ten finishers, as Cade Breitenstine, Jordan Gilkison, and Edvin Backstrom stayed consistent through all 54 holes of the invite.
Breitenstine, Gilkison, and Backstrom will spearhead this week's lineup and will be joined by teammates Chris Vandette and Ben MacLean.
The Flashes tied for 2nd at last year's Windon Memorial as they return for the 3rd consecutive season.
Ben MacLean and Cade Bretienstine led the way in 2022, with MacLean tying for 4th and Breitenstine placing 7th.
Tee times will begin at 8:30 A.M. tomorrow and at 8 A.M. on Tuesday. Live Scoring can be followed via GolfStat.
