Women's Golf Heads to Toledo for Glass City Invitational

TOLEDO, OH...The Kent State women's golf team tees off tomorrow for their third tournament off the season and their first in-state, as they travel west to compete in the Glass City Invitational hosted by the University of Toledo.
Through the first two tournaments, the Flashes have had a number of individual successes.Â
Last weekend, Leon Takagi and Hester Sicking both recorded top ten finishes at the Mary Fossum Invitational, with Takagi tying for a tournament round best 69 on the final 18.
The Flashes will take seven golfers to the event, with two competing as individuals. First year Veronika Kedronova will look to secure her third top 35 finish to begin her collegiate career and will be joined by Takagi, Sicking, Noramol Nuchsila, and Jennifer Gu.Â
Berta Sanchez and sophomore Vera Yi will play as individuals, with the latter making her Flashes debut.Â
Tee times begin at 9:30 on Monday and 8:30 on Tuesday. Monday's rounds will be televised on YouTube, with Tuesday's being featured on ESPN+. Make sure to follow along below.
