
Flashes Women Set to Conclude Fall Season at Mercedes Benz Collegiate

The Kent State women's golf team is set to tee off their final tournament of the Fall season on Monday with the Mercedes Benz Collegiate. Tee times are set to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Notes:
- Monday will mark the 17th time Kent State has competed in the Mercedes Benz Collegiate. The Flashes finished tenth in last year's event.
- Veronika Kedronova leads the Flashes lineup again after winning the individual title at the Sunflower Invitational in her last outing. It was the sophomore's second win of the season after claiming first at September's Red Raider Invitational. Kedronova leads the team with a 72.67 scoring average.
- The freshman trio of Aryn Matthews, Isabella Goyette, and Gracie Larsen are set to conclude the Fall season having participated in every team event for the Flashes. Goyette has posted two top-20 finishes this season, holding a scoring average of 75.92. Larsen's season has been highlighted by a top-ten finish at September's Boilermaker Classic; she has accumulated a 75.25 scoring average this season. Matthews had the best outing of her freshman season last time out at the Sunflower Invitational, finishing tied for 11th after posting back-to-back 71s in the opening two rounds.
- Reigning MAC Golfer of the Year Leon Takagi returns to the Flashes lineup after missing the Sunflower Invitational two weeks ago.
- Jennifer Gu is set to compete as an individual for the third time this season. The senior has appeared in the Red Raider Invitational and Sunflower Invitational, where she finished tied for 45th.
