
Cross Country Heads to Muncie for MAC Bragging Rights

The Kent State cross teams will compete at the 2024 Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The meet will be held at the Ball State Cross Country Course in Muncie, Indiana.
The women's 6K race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and the starting gun for the men's 8K race will sound at 12 p.m.

Previewing the Flashes
The men's team is primed to finish in the top-four for the first time in more than a decade. Senior Baidy Ba is among the individual favorites and has won three races already this season. Graduate student Ethan Yost, sophomore Jack Curtis and sophomore Rylan Winkler have also had strong years for the Golden Flashes.
Freshman Nora Salem has been the first finisher for the women's team in two of four races and is coming off her fastest 6k time of season last time out. Senior Sydney Miller and junior Nicole Kuehner have also consistently been among the team's top performers throughout the year.
Up Next for the Flashes
Kent State will have a week off to get ready for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships at Silver Creek Cross Country Trails in Norton on Nov. 15.
