Twelve Flashes Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced selections for the 2024 field hockey Academic All-MAC Team on Wednesday, with 12 flashes earning the honor.
To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Team, student-athletes must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 50 percent of contests throughout the season. First-year students are not eligible for the award.
A total of 97 field hockey student-athletes across the MAC were recognized on the Academic All-MAC Team. Kent State had the third most selections in the conference with 12, behind App State (15) and Ohio (14).

The Golden Flashes finished the season 7-12 and 5-3 in MAC play before falling in the MAC Championship semifinal.
