
Men's Golf Set for Hal Williams Collegiate to Begin Spring Season

The Kent State men's golf team returns to action over the next two days, competing in the Hal Williams Collegiate, hosted by the University of South Alabama.
The 14 team event will begin Monday with 36 holes, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday.
This is the 4th consecutive season the Flashes will be playing in Mobile, Alabama, and the 2nd straight in the Hal Williams Collegiate.
Last year, the Flashes placed 7th out of 15 teams at the event, with Cade Breitenstine and Jordan Gilkison both recording top 15 finishes.

Fall Season
The Golden Flashes played in four tournaments this past fall, with their best finish coming in their season opening tournament, placing 2nd in the Gopher Invitational.
Jordan Gilkison had two top ten and three top 15 finishes, while Cade Breitenstine, Chris Vandette, and Edvin Backstrom each had one top ten result.
