
Kedronova Finishes in Top Ten, Flashes Tie for 10th at UCF Challenge

First year Veronika Kedronova recorded her 2nd top ten finish of her career, tying for 6th among the 96 player field.
Kedronova shot a 67 through the final 18 holes, good for five under par, tying for the best individual score of the day.
The freshman standout rose 15 spots on Monday, recording five birdies and sunk an eagle on the par five 16th.Â
Hester Sicking also put forth a strong performance for the Golden Flashes, tying for 12th at four under par. Sicking notched the other eagle of the tournament for KSU, converting the par five 4th hole in three shots. The result was Sicking's 2nd top 15 finish of the season.
As a team Kent State had their best round on the third and final day, shooting a total of 286 tying them for 10th with Iowa State.
"While we are not happy with our finish we did a lot of things well," said head coach Casey VanDamme.  "We made some very correctable mistakes and I expect us to be better at the next event."

The Golden Flashes will be back in action on Feb. 18th and Feb. 19th, competing in the sunshine state for the 2ndconsecutive tournament, this time in the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational. The event is hosted by Michigan State University.Â
