
Volleyball Drops Friday Match to Central Michigan

KENT, Ohio โ Kent State lost to Central Michigan, 3-0 (18-25, 19-25, 18-25), in a Mid-American Conference volleyball matchup inside of the M.A.C. Center on Friday.
The Golden Flashes (8-14, 3-8 MAC) struggled to slow the attack of the Chippewas, whose .320 hitting percentage is the highest by an opponent this season.
Sophomore Nadia Miller had another productive night and led the way with eight kills, a .429 hitting percentage and three total blocks. Redshirt sophomore Adalynn Ginley, senior Mackenzie McGuire and freshman Macie Moreland added five kills each. Junior Christina Vigil totaled 24 assists.
Freshman Catie Patterson tallied a team-high nine digs.
Kent State is scheduled for three contests next week. The Golden Flashes will travel to Ohio on Tuesday and then host first-place Ball State on Friday and Saturday.
