
Flashes Fall to Cardinals in Straight Sets

KENT, Ohio โ Kent State fell to first-place Ball State, 3-0 (20-25, 11-25, 19-25), on Saturday afternoon at the M.A.C. Center.
The Golden Flashes (8-17, 3-11 MAC) struggled to slow the Cardinals' attack, which totaled just five errors and a .437 hitting percentage.
Senior Mackenzie McGuire was the top attacker with nine kills and redshirt sophomore Adalynn Ginley added six kills on 14 attempts for a .429 hitting percentage. Junior Christina Vigil totaled 30 assists.
Sophomore Hailey Brenner led the defense with nine digs.
Kent State will head to Western Michigan next Friday and Saturday for its final road matches of the season.
