Notes:
- Monday marks the fifth time Kent State has competed in the Hal Williams Intercollegiate. The Flashes first competed in the event in 2021, known at the time as the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate. Last February, the Flashes finished tied for 12th of the 14 teams competing in the event.
- Kent State concluded the Fall season with a first-place finish at the Flyer Invitational, the team's first win since the 2022 MAC Championship. The Flashes were led by Jordan Gilkison, who claimed the individual title in the event at 3-under-par for the first win of his career.
- In addition to the win to conclude the Fall, Gilkison leads Kent State with a 70.87 scoring average. The senior recorded six rounds in the 60s and earned a top-20 finish in all five events in the Fall.
- The Kent State lineup features three freshmen who will be opening their first collegiate Spring seasons. Isaiah Ibit was a staple for the Flashes in the Fall, competing in every team event while earning two top-five finishes and tallying six rounds in the 60s.
- Nolan Haynes returns to the lineup after starting in the last three team events to conclude the Fall, recording two top-30 finishes.
- After competing as an individual to conclude the Fall at the Flyer Invitational, where he finished tied for 15th place, Ramiro Acevedo features in the Flashes' lineup to open the Spring. The Argentine finished tied for 39th at last month's Latin America Amateur Championship with a four-round score of even-par.
- Edvin Backstrom remains in the Kent State lineup after appearing in the final two team events of the Fall season, including a top-30 finish at the Flyer Invitational.
- Bryce Reed is set to compete as an individual at the Hal Williams Intercollegiate. The senior tallied two rounds in the 60s over five appearances in the Fall.
