
Malanda to Represent Kent State at 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

Kent State senior Alexandre Malanda will compete in the men's triple jump at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. The competition is scheduled to start at 5:20 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 15 and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Malanda enters the championship meet with a No. 6 national ranking after breaking the Golden Flashes' record with a jump of 53'-5.75" at the Jud Logan Memorial on Jan. 18. The Paris native placed first in both triple jump competitions he competed in this season and captured his record-tying third consecutive Mid-American Conference indoor title two weeks ago.
