
Kent State Reveals 2025 Field Hockey Schedule

KENT, Ohio — The Kent State field hockey team announced its 2025 season schedule on Friday.
The Golden Flashes will host IUP (Aug. 22) and Slippery Rock (Aug. 24) for scrimmages in the week leading to the official start of the program's 51st season of varsity competition, which will be against Mercyhurst on August 29 at Murphy-Mellis Field.
A stretch of six straight road contests follows, beginning against Ohio State on August 31. Following games against Iowa (Sept. 5), Delaware (Sept. 12) and Penn State (Sept. 14), Kent State will visit league newcomer UMass for the Mid-American Conference opener on September 19.
The non-conference slate concludes at UMass Lowell on September 21.
The Flashes will return to Murphy-Mellis Field against Miami on Sept. 26 and then alternate home and away contests the rest of the season, hosting Longwood (Oct. 5), Ohio (Oct. 17) and James Madison (Oct. 26) and visiting Ball State (Sept. 28), Bellarmine (Oct. 10), Central Michigan (Oct. 19) and App State (Oct. 31).
The MAC Tournament will be held Nov. 4-8 in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
