Notes:
- Both the men's and women's golf programs will compete at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational for the second consecutive season this week. In 2024, the men finished seventh among ten teams competing, while the women tied for sixth place. Isabella Goyette led the women with a tied 15th-place finish at 10-over-par. In what was his first career appearance in the Kent State lineup, Nolan Haynes tied for 20th at 9-over-par.
- The Kent State men's lineup for the Blessings Collegiate Invitational remains unchanged from the team's lineup in the opening two events of the Fall, featuring three sophomores and two freshmen. The Flashes tied for sixth in the team's previous outing at the Canadian Collegiate, fueled by a 13-under-par 275 in round two.
- Isaiah Ibit matched his collegiate career low 54-hole score in the Flashes' last outing at the Canadian Collegiate, carding a 12-under-par 204. The star sophomore opened the event with a career low round of 64 (-8), just two strokes shy of matching a program record. With a third-place finish at the Canadian Collegiate, Ibit has opened the Fall with a pair of top-ten finishes.
- Despite some struggles in rounds one and three of the event, freshman Liam Curtis posted an impressive 6-under-par 66 in round two of the Canadian Collegiate for the second-best round by a Kent State golfer this season.
- Nolan Haynes posted his first top-20 finish of the Fall at the Canadian Collegiate, tying for 18th place at even par. The sophomore's strong tournament was highlighted by a 5-under-par 67 in round two, the lowest round to par in Haynes' collegiate career.
- Ibit, Haynes, and Ramiro Acevedo each carded an eagle at the Canadian Collegiate. James Newton, who will not be competing at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, also posted an eagle to bring Kent State's total to four at the event.
- The Flashes' women are riding on a hot start to the 2025-26 season, including three consecutive top-three team finishes and a team victory at the Wolverine Invitational. Following a runner-up finish at the Canadian Collegiate, Kent State was ranked No. 21 in the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division I National Coaches' Poll.
- Veronika Kedronova headlines the women's lineup after earning the fourth individual win of her collegiate career at the Canadian Collegiate. The decorated junior matched a career low 6-under-par round of 66 in round one before carding a 2-under-par 70 in round two, finishing the rain-shortened event atop the standings at 8-under-par. Kedronova was also named MAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her outstanding performance.
- Following a tied-fifth place finish at the Canadian Collegiate, Leon Takagi has opened her senior season with three consecutive top-five individual finishes. The former MAC Golfer of the Year opened the event with a 3-under-par 69, her eighth career round in the 60s, before posting an even-par 72 in round two.
- Isabella Goyette earned her second career top-ten finish at the Canadian Collegiate. The sophomore from Medina, Ohio, fired a 2-under-par 70 in round one, her lowest round of the season, followed by a 1-over-par 73 to finish the tournament at 1-under-par.
- Aryn Matthews was the fourth Kent State golfer to finish in the top 20 at the Women's Canadian Collegiate, tying for 19th place at 2-over-par. Following a 4-over-par 76 to begin the event, the Ontario native, competing on home soil, fired a 2-under-par 70 to conclude the 36-hole tournament at 2-over-par.
