After a quick turnaround, the Kent State women's golf team hits the road again this weekend for the Wolverine Invitational, set to begin on Sunday at U-M Golf Course.

Notes:
- The Flashes opened the 2025-26 season at the Boilermaker Classic earlier this week. The team placed third among the 14 squads competing at 12-over-par. It marks the second consecutive season the Flashes have opened with a top-three finish at the Boilermaker Classic.
- This weekend's trip to the Wolverine Invitational marks the first time the Golden Flashes have competed in the event since the Fall of 2021.
- Leon Takagi headlines the Kent State lineup at the Wolverine Invitational after posting a top-five individual finish to open the season at the Boilermaker Classic, surpassing her best finish of the 2024-25 season. Takagi finished at 2-under-par after shooting a 70 and 71 in rounds one and three, respectively.
- Veronika Kedronova was the Flashes' other top ten finisher at the Boilermaker Classic, claiming the eighth-place mark at 1-under-par. After rounds of 73 and 72 to open the tournament, the star junior fired a 2-under-par 70 in round three to climb into the single-digit finish on the leaderboard.
- Aryn Matthews improved between each round of the Boilermaker Classic earlier this week, culminating in a 1-under-par 71 in round three. The big final round helped the Canadian sophomore rise to a tie for 23rd among the 80 golfers competing at 8-over-par.
- Isabella Goyette impressively opened her season with an even-par 72 in the first round of the Boilermaker Classic, her sixth career round of par or better. Goyette would go on to conclude the tournament tied for 35th at 10-over-par.
- Petra Babicova remains in the Flashes' lineup after appearing in the Boilermaker Classic to open her sophomore season. The Slovakian international tied for 53rd at 15-over-par to round out Kent State's first team event of the 2025-26 season.
