
Kent State Sweeps MAC Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Week Awards for Second Time

CLEVELAND – Kent State student-athletes Ayden Bath and Amare Hall were recognized for their outstanding performances this past weekend at the Meyo Invitational with Mid-American Conference Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Bath sprinted to victory in the 60-meter hurdles with a finals time of 7.83 seconds, just hours after clocking a personal-best 7.82 in the prelims. His PR is the fourth-fastest time in Golden Flashes history and ranks 46th nationally.
Hall recorded an indoor personal-best mark of 24'-4.5" to place second in the long jump. Hall's MAC-leading jump puts him at No. 70 on the national performance list.
Kent State will be back in action at the Kent State Field House for the Doug Raymond Invitational on Friday, Feb. 6 and Saturday, Feb. 7.
