Hogg Inside Top-20 After Two Rounds at Marino Classic

Darcy Hogg continued his strong play at the Michael A. Marino Classic for the Kent State Herb Page men's golf team on a weather-shortened day two in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Monday.
With the Golden Flashes having completed the back nine of The Dunes Golf & Beach Club on Sunday, Hogg came out and played the front nine at 1 under, birdieing Nos. 1 and 9 with a bogey on No. 7. Isaiah Ibit also played the front under par with a birdie on No. 1 before parring the final eight holes.
Nolan Haynes and Liam Curtis each shot even par on the day, and Ramiro Acevedo went 1 over.
The Golden Flashes play the final round of the tournament Tuesday. Tee times begin at 9:30 a.m. with Kent State teeing off at 11 a.m.
