
Flashes Lacrosse Drops Tough Road Non-Conference Matchup In Oregon

Eugene, OREGON - The Kent State Lacrosse team ran into a tough test against the Oregon Ducks of the Big Ten on Monday on the road by a score of 15-1.
Senior midfielder Zayda Crumpton scored the lone goal of the contest in the first quarter for the Blue and Gold at the end of the first quarter. The Ducks would then score 12 unanswered goals to finish out the game for a 14-goal win.
Oregon held the advantage at the circle with 12 draw controls compared to four for Kent State, while out-shooting the Golden Flashes by a count of 33-13.
Junior Allie Bradley and sophomore Anna Zucconi anchored the Flashes on the defensive end with three caused turnovers each, while Crumpton also finished with four ground balls.
Up Next
The Flashes will return back east for the start of Mid-American Conference play beginning on Saturday. KSU will play its first match-up against Eastern Michigan on Saturday in Ypsilanti for a 1 P.M. start.
