
Outdoor Track and Field Heads to Two Meets for Weekend Competition

The Kent State track and field program will have split squads in action this weekend at the University of Georgia's Spec Towns Invitational and the University of Akron's Northeast Ohio Open.
PREVIEWING THE FLASHES
Kent State has 61 total student-athletes entered for competition this weekend.
The Flashes have 27 athletes entered for the Spec Towns Invitational, which will be held Thursday through Saturday. The first multis competition of the season headlines the entries, as Joel Enander and Linkon Tyrrell will compete in the decathlon and Matilde Carboncini, Keeli Dunaway and Alexa Nestor will compete in the heptathlon.
Kent State has 34 athletes registered for the Northeast Ohio Open. The hammer and javelin throw competitions will be held on Thursday, with the remaining events occurring on Friday.
NEXT UP FOR KENT STATE
The Flashes will be back in action to the Virginia Challenge on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18.
