Maxwell Fink joined the Kent State's women's basketball staff as a graduate assistant for the 2023-24 campaign.
Prior to joining the Golden Flashes’ staff, Fink worked four seasons with the Indiana women’s basketball program as a student manager, including two years as the head manager. He assisted the coaching staff with player development and worked closely with nine student-athletes who earned All-B1G honors, including WNBA first round pick Grace Berger and unanimous All-American Mackenzie Holmes. He also helped the Director of Basketball Operations with day-to-day activities.
The Hoosiers enjoyed the most successful four-year stretch in program history during Fink’s time as a student manager with 97 wins, three NCAA Tournament bids, an Elite Eight appearance in 2021, a Sweet 16 appearance in 2022 and the program’s first Big Ten championship in 40 years in 2023.
Fink graduated from Indiana University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He is pursuing a Master of Arts in Sport Administration at Kent State.
