KENT, Ohio — The Kent State volleyball team will be in action at the M.A.C. Center on Friday and Saturday as part of an action-packed Homecoming Weekend. The Golden Flashes will play Ball State (12-7, 4-2 MAC) in the annual 'Dig for the Cure' match on Friday at 7 p.m. and return to action for Alumnae Night against Toledo (8-10, 3-3 MAC) at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The pair of Mid-American Conference cross-divisional matches conclude a stretch with five of six matches at home and will mark the halfway-point of the conference schedule. This is a big weekend for teams across the MAC, as they try to begin to separate from a bunched set of conference standings. Only two wins currently separate third and last place.

For the fifth year in a row, the Golden Flashes will wear their special pink uniforms for their 'Dig for the Cure' match to show support for breast cancer awareness. Additionally, the court inside of the M.A.C. Center will have pink court lines for the entire month of October.
