
Flashes Set to Compete in Inverness Intercollegiate

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State men's golf team is back in action as the Flashes will compete in the Inverness Intercollegiate on Sept. 23-24 at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.
THE TOURNAMENT
The two-day, 15-team tournament will feature 35 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The Inverness Country Club plays as a par-71, spanning 7,172 yards.
THE FIELD
The Inverness will feature two teams- No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 12 Texas Tech -ranked in the top-15. Kent State will be joined by Auburn, Kennesaw State, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, UNC Wilmington, Northern Illinois, Ohio State, St. Mary's, Tennessee and Toledo.
THE LINEUP

The Flashes look to continue their success at the event after finishing in the top-10 for the second-straight week as Kent Stent finished eighth last week at the Maui Jim. Gilkison is coming off of a top-3 performance as he finished tied for third with a 9-under 201 score.
