
Flashes in Fourth Heading into Final Round of Fighting Irish Classic

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Kent State men's golf team looks strong after day one of the Fighting Irish Classic, storming out to a fourth-place position two rounds into the invitational.
The team enters the final round three strokes under par, just two strokes off the pace of Utah in third and ten off Washington in first.
Josh Gilkison has looked excellent so far, leading the Flashes with a score of five-under-par, tied for fifth overall.
Chris Vandette and Cade Breitenstine will enter the final round not far behind, each right on par after the first day.
The Flashes will wrap things up from South Bend on Tuesday morning looking to complete their second top-five finish in the first three tournaments.
