The 23rd ranked Kent State field hockey team (4-2, 0-0 MAC) will host Ohio in their first conference matchup of the season on Friday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. at Murphy-Mellis Field.
The Golden Flashes look to continue their dominance against the Bobcats. Kent State has won 10 straight games against Ohio, lasting falling to them in 2013.
SCOUTING OHIO
The Bobcats finished 2020 with a 5-9 overall record and are 2-5 this Fall. They are coming off a 7-3 victory against Saint Louis, a game where graduate student Jillian Shive scored a hattrick. Her performanceย earned her Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.
THE SERIES
Kent State defeated Ohio this past Spring by a score of 3-1. The Flashes now hold a 53-26-2 all-time advantage over the Bobcats.
