
Vandette’s Top-10 Finish leads Men’s Golf at Windon Memorial

GLENCOE, Ill. – The Kent State men's golf team wrapped up the Windon Memorial in eighth place, shooting an even-par 852 as a team throughout the two-day tournament.
The Golden Flashes were one of only three teams to finish with three competitors under par.
Chris Vandette led Kent State by shooing a 3-under, 210 to finish in a tie for tenth place.
Jordan Gilkison and Cade Breitenstine also finished in the top-25. Gilkison carded a 211 to tie for 16th and Breitenstine was right behind with a 212, tying for 21st.
The Flashes will be back in action on Oct. 4-5 for the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend.
