BRYAN, TEX... After a darkness-shortened round one on Saturday the Kent State men's golf team returned to Traditions Club for the second day of action and wrapped up the Aggie Invitational in tenth place.
The Flashes were led by a top-25 finish from Cade Breitenstine who closed out the weekend with a very respectable 230 on the card.
"It was a rough weekend, conditions were very tough but the same for everyone with winds up to 30 miles per hour," KSU head coach Jon Mills said. "Even though the scores don't show it Cade had a solid weekend and Chris played well today. We'll have some time over the next week to get some work in and to prepare for Ohio State."
Chris Vandette was also able to make up some ground with a team-best 77 on the final round.
Texas A&M would claim victory in their home event as the #23 team in the country finished with two of the top three individual performers and all five inside the top-25.
Kent State will have the next week off before playing one final regular season tournament at the Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus on April 23 and 24.
