Flashes Head North For Gopher Invitational

Independence, MN... After kicking off their season in South Bend last weekend, the Kent State men's golf team has arrived in Minnesota for this year's Gopher Invitational.
The Flashes concluded their time in Independence a season ago with a fourth place finish, and will have an opportunity to rise to the top of a field that contains just three ranked teams this weekend.
While the lineup of Vandette, Breitenstine, Gilkison, Reed and MacLean compete in the Gopher Invitational, Luca Civello and Luke Delgobbo will participate in this year's Minnesota Golf Classic, an individual tournament won last season by Kent State's very own Chris Vandette.
The Flashes will be paired with Iowa State and Michigan State with a Sunday tee time of 9:45 ET. Live scoring throughout the event can be found on Golfstat.com.
