
Men's Golf Heads to Sunshine State to Wrap up Fall Season

The Kent State men's golf team will be competing in the Quail Valley Invitational over the next two days hosted by Michigan State University.
Jon Mills's team is carrying six golfers down south this weekend, as the Flashes aim to notch their second top five finish as a team.
The Golden Flashes excelled at Quail Valley two years ago, placing 2nd out of 16 clubs.
Chris Vandette won the tournament back in 2021, shooting a three round score of 202 which was good for 14 under par. Cade Breitenstine also placed in the top ten, tying for 6th.
The two day event will kickoff tomorrow at 8:30 A.M. EST and will be a shotgun start. Stats can be found using Golf Genius at the link below.

Jordan Gilkison lead the Flashes notching his 2nd top 15 finish of the season, finishing at one over par through 54 holes of play.
Cade Breitenstine and Bryce Reed finished one and two strokes behind Gilkison tying for 21st and 26th.
