
Track and Field Ready to Compete at Al Campbell Invitational

The Kent State track and field program will compete in the last of three meets at Stile Athletics Field House during the indoor season on Friday when it competes at the Al Campbell Invitational on Friday, Feb. 17.
Various field events are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. The men's one-mile run gets action on the track started at 5 p.m. The women's 5,000-meter run will be the final race of the meet and is slated for 7:35 p.m.
FAN INFO / DIGITAL TICKETING
Mobile ticketing will be utilized for all home Akron track and field meets this season. Tickets are available for $10 at www.GoZips.com/tickets and must be purchased in advance. All fans should enter through the Akron student recreation center main entrance. Doors will open to the public at 3:00 p.m.
PREVIEWING THE FLASHES
Kent State will have 41 student-athletes in action on Friday.
Three competitors — Amare Hall (men's long jump), Kristian Kneffler (men's pole vault) and Leah Pasqualetti (women's pole vault) — who rank in the top-100 nationally entered for competition. Four additional student-athletes among the top-five in the Mid-American Conference will also be in action.
NEXT UP FOR KENT STATE
The Golden Flashes will compete for conference supremacy at the MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in Bowling Green on Feb. 24-25.
