Men's Golf Travels to Columbus for Regular Season Finale
4/20/2023 2:35:00 PM | Men's Golf
Columbus, OH… The Kent State men's golf team will make the short trek to Buckeye country this weekend to wrap up their regular season at this year's Robert Kepler Invitational.
The Flashes are coming off of their best performance of the spring after taking third place at last week's Boilermaker Invitate on a day that saw three of the five members of the lineup finish inside the top ten.
"We're looking to build on last weeks solid finish at Purdue," KSU head coach Jon Mills said. "Our guys are very familiar with Scarlet and we're excited to see how they compete over the next three days."
This course has been friendly to the Flashes in the past, as Kent State finished the 2022 Robert Kepler Invite in a tie for fourth, and among those who wrapped up last year's event inside the top 15 are a pair of returners in Jordan Gilkison and Cade Breitenstine.
With impending weather on the horizon, this weekends schedule is subject to change, but the tournament is slated to begin at 7:30 ET on Friday morning, and should see the Flashes paired with Ohio State.
