KENT, Ohio – Kent State women's basketball student-athletes Jenna Batsch, Bridget Dunn, Mikala Morris and Abby Ogle have been named to the 2024 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The Academic All-District® award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore athletic status and either competed in 90% of the team's games or started in at least 66% of games while maintaining a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average.
All four student-athletes played key roles in the Golden Flashes returning to the NCAA Tournament this season for the first time since 2002. Dunn was named to the Mid-American Conference All-Tournament Team, while Batsch was an All-MAC Third Team honoree.
