
Golden Flashes Return to Dix Stadium for Home Contests

The Kent State lacrosse team (1-4) will take on Longwood (0-3) on Thursday, March 7 at 4 p.m. and Bucknell (1-4) on Saturday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Dix Stadium.
About the Golden Flashes
The Flashes return home after a four-game away stretch. On Friday against Lindenwood, Kent State fell 18-11. Jackie Wolford matched her season high of five goals and Taylor Monturo recorded 12 saves. Against Cincinnati on Sunday, the Flashes lost 16-4 despite leading in draw controls (13-11) and ground balls (14-13). Goalkeeper Ella Gravitt made a career high of 13 saves against the Bearcats.
Wolford was named Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season and had secured a hat trick in four straight games. She is second in the MAC for goals per game (3.4). Zayda Crumpton is tied for the lead in draw controls per game (5).
About the Lancers
Longwood comes off a three-game losing streak with the recent fall, 11-7, to Old Dominion on Feb. 28. Current scoring leader, Sophia Passa, recorded four goals with seven on the season and nine points.
The Lancers place first in the Big South Conference for assists per game (5.67), saves per game (15.33), and save percentage (.523).
About the Bison
Bucknell travels to Kent State after a 14-8 defeat against Mount St. Mary's on Sunday. The Bison season victory, 17-11, was against Robert Morris on Feb. 24. The Bison are ranked No. 1 in the Patriot League for caused turnovers (49).
Allie Boyce leads team with 12 goals and 14 points. Braeden Siverson leads Bucknell with 21 draw controls.
Series History
The Flashes will meet the Bison and Lancers for the first time in program history.
