Lacrosse Travels to No. 20 Colorado
The Kent State lacrosse team (5-9) takes on No. 20 Colorado (8-4) on Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. ET.
About the Golden Flashes
The Flashes won, 18-12, against Akron on Sunday in a Mid-American Conference matchup. Jackie Wolford was awarded MAC Offensive Player of the Week after tying the program individual game record for points (10) and tied her career high of goals (7). Zayda Crumpton secured five goals and Morgan Halli recorded her second career hat trick. Kent State led in draw controls 19-14 and Peyton Gellin reached a season high of three assists.
Wolford is 8th in the country for goals (52) and 14th in points (65). Crumpton is ranked No. 1 in the MAC for draw controls (63) and No. 3 for assists (15). The Flashes led the MAC in goals per game (10.93) and draw controls (185).
About the Buffaloes
Colorado comes off a 17-7 victory over UC Davis on Saturday. The Buffaloes led in shots on goal (23-11) and draw controls (19-8). Madeline Pisani and Ashley Stokes matched career highs of six goals.
Pisani leads the PAC-12 in goals (43) this season.
