Notes:
- The Blessings Collegiate Invitational's unique format will culminate in a men's team champion, a women's team champion, an individual male champion, an individual female champion, a combined team champion, and combined individual best-ball champions.
- Kent State has never competed in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational before, however, the men's team has competed at Blessings Golf Course once before at the 2013 NCAA Fayetteville Regional.
- Veronika Kedronova recorded the second individual win of her career last week at the Red Raider Invitational. The sophomore shot three consecutive rounds of 70 or better to claim the title. Kedronova was awarded MAC Women's Co-Golfer of the Week for her performance.
- Isaiah Ibit enters the Blessings Collegiate with a hot start to his collegiate career. The freshman recorded a runner-up finish in his previous outing at the Canadian Collegiate, shooting 12-under-par. Ibit became just the fifth men's golfer in Kent State history to shoot an entire tournament in the 60s, and his 54-hole score of 204 is tied for the fifth-best in program history.
- Bryce Reed also heads to the Blessings Collegiate with momentum, finishing fourth place in his previous outing at the Canadian Collegiate. The senior shot 9-under-par, aided by a joint-team season-low round of 66 in round three.
- Competing as an individual at the Canadian Collegiate, James Newton recorded a tied eighth-place finish at 6-under-par, highlighted by scores of 66 and 68 in rounds two and three.
- Senior Jordan Gilkison has opened his season with two consecutive top-20 finishes, placing tied-ninth (1-over-par) at the season-opening Gopher Invitational before a tied-19th (1-under-par) finish at the Canadian Collegiate.
- For the third time in three tournaments this season, the Flashes' women's lineup features the freshman trio of Gracie Larsen, Isabella Goyette, and Aryn Matthews. Larsen has opened her collegiate career with a tied ninth finish at the Boilermaker Classic and a tied 16th finish at the Red Raider Invitational. Goyette had her best collegiate appearance yet at last week's Red Raider Invitational, shooting three consecutive rounds of 73 to finish tied for 20th. Matthews opened her season with a top-15 finish at the Boilermaker Classic, shooting 7-over-par.
- The Kent State women's lineup has remained unchanged all season thus far, with reigning MAC Women's Golfer of the Year Leon Takagi also set to make her third appearance.
- Nolan Haynes is set to make his first-ever collegiate appearance with his inclusion in the Flashes' lineup.
