
Hogg Cards 69 to Lead Kent State in Final Round at Kepler

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Darcy Hogg closed the Robert Kepler Invitational with a 3-under-par 69 Sunday, leading the Kent State Herb Page men's golf team to a T-8 finish at Columbus Country Club.
Hogg capped his final round with a bogey-free back nine, highlighted by a birdie on the par-5 eighth hole. Hogg finished the tournament at -1, good for 28th individually. The Golden Flashes finished the 54-hole event at -2, posting a 7-under-par 281 in the final round.
Christoffer Leuenhagen shot a 2-under-par 70 in the final round to finish 19th individually at -3 for the tournament. James Newton carded a 1-under-par 71 to finish 38th, while Isaiah Ibit closed with an even-par 72 to finish 53rd. Liam Curtis also posted a 71 to finish 65th.
Minnesota won the event at -31, with Ohio State (-22) and Miami (OH) (-14) rounding out the top three. Jack Crousore of Minnesota and Gregoire Hoyeau of Abilene Christian split medalist honors with a -9 finish.
