Jones Tallies Six Points in Loss to Bearcats

KENT, Ohio โ The Kent State lacrosse team fell to Cincinnati on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Dix Stadium.
The Golden Flashes had the game knotted up, 3-3, early in the first half after goals by Graceyn Dean, Abby Jones and Lexi Piekarski.
The Bearcats went on a 10-0 run before the Flashes responded with four unanswered goals. Jones scored her second of the game and Megan Kozar, Madison Rapier and Meghan Cawood each added a goal.
Jones led the Flashes on the day with six total points (3g, 3a). She leads Kent State on the season with 19 points (13g, 6a). She also leads the team with 22 draw controls.

The Golden Flashes will conclude its four-game homestand with future Mid-American Conference foe Central Michigan on Friday, March 13 at 3 p.m. Kent State will then travel to Howard and Delaware State before hosting Akron in a neutral site contest at the U.S. Lacrosse facility in Baltimore, Md.
