Flashes Wrap Up Non-Conference Schedule Against Presbyterian

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's lacrosse team (1-5, 1-1 MAC) will wrap up its non-conference schedule against Presbyterian (1-1) on Monday afternoon at Dix Stadium.
The two teams were originally scheduled to meet on Sunday afternoon but pushed the game back one day to accommodate the two schedules.
The Golden Flashes won their last home game on March 13 when the team beat the rival Akron Zips, 9-8, in thrilling fashion. Kent State dropped its most recent contest to Duquesne on the road last Tuesday.
Madison Rapier and Jackie Wolford led Kent State against the Dukes with two goals each, including Wolford's first goal of her career. Kelli Bailey tallied her first goal of the 2021 season in the loss.
Abby Jones leads the team with 16 points (13g, 3a) this season. Rapier is right behind Jones with 14 points (12g, 2a).
About Presbyterian
Presbyterian has only played two games this season. They dropped their season opener to Winthrop before winning game number two against Wofford.
Abby Edmisten leads the Blue Hose with eight points (6g, 2a). Kelly Hyman is second on the team with four goals.
