
Lacrosse falls to Delaware

NEWARK, Del. - The Kent State lacrosse team (1-3) lost 18-4 to Delaware (4-1) this afternoon.
Jackie Wolford secured her ninth goal of the season putting the Flashes on the board late in the first quarter.
Defending off the Blue Hens in the third quarter, Kent State picked up the momentum and added three goals by Wolford (2) and Meghan Haddow (1).
Zayda Crumpton recorded two assists and nine draw controls. The Flashes led 14-12 in draw controls, while Delaware led in shots on goal (22-11), and ground balls (16-8).
Up next, Kent State takes on Lindenwood on Friday, March 1 at 6 p.m.
