Notes:
- This week's inaugural Women's Canadian Collegiate marks the first-ever NCAA women's golf event held in Canada. The Golden Flashes' men's golf team competed in the inaugural edition of the Men's Canadian Collegiate in 2024, also returning to the event for the second edition last week.
- The Golden Flashes have had a successful start to the 2025-26 season, earning two top-three finishes and a team victory in the opening two events of the Fall. In the team's last outing, Kent State claimed first place at the Wolverine Invitational. The victory over a field that included nine power-conference opponents was the Flashes' first win in a non-MAC Championship event since the Sunflower Invitational in October 2022.
- Leon Takagi continues to lead the Kent State lineup after posting the Flashes' low score in both tournaments to open the season. The lone senior on Kent State's roster, Takagi finished in fourth among 81 golfers competing at the Wolverine Invitational with a 1-over-par 214. Takagi's 68 in the second round is one of just two rounds in the 60s by a Flash through two events this season.
- Kent State's 2024 leader in scoring average, Veronika Kedronova, also maintains her spot in the Flashes' lineup. The junior posted an 8-over-par 221 at the Wolverine Invitational to tie for 16th. Kedronova has finished in the top 20 at both events to open the fall, bringing her career tally of top-20 finishes to 16.
- Aryn Matthews posted the Flashes' second-best 54-hole score in the team's victory at the Wolverine Invitational with a 6-over-par 219. In round two of the tournament, Matthews fired a career-low round of 67, Kent State's lowest individual round of the season, helping her finish tied for 11th.
- Isabella Goyette finished tied for 29th at the Wolverine Invitational to help the Flashes to victory. The sophomore posted her lowest round of the season in round two of the event, an even-par 71.
- Reigning MAC Freshman of the Year Gracie Larsen rounds out Kent State's lineup at the Canadian Collegiate. Larsen appeared as an individual in Kent State's season-opener at the Boilermaker Classic, where she tied for 56th place with a 17-over-par 233.
- Petra Babicova will compete as an individual at the Canadian Collegiate. Babicova ensured that all five Flashes competing at the Wolverine Invitational finished in the top half of the individual standings. The sophomore came in 37th place after firing a 13-over-par 226 at the event, the lowest 54-hole stroke total of her career.
- In addition to the Canadian Collegiate, the Golden Flashes will also have three golfers competing this week as individuals at the Youngstown State Roseann Schwartz Invitational. Kristen Belden, Alexa Prettyman, and Emma Visnovska are each set to make their season debuts, with the latter two making their official collegiate debuts.
