
Lacrosse falls to Robert Morris

KENT, Ohio - The Kent State lacrosse team (6-7, 3-1 MAC) lost 13-12 against Robert Morris this afternoon.
The scoring leaders for the Flashes, Kenzie Sklar and Jackie Wolford, each secured goals in the first and second quarter to bring the score 8-4 at halftime. After trailing behind the Colonials for more than 45 minutes, Allie Lee scored to bring the game 10-10 with nine minutes remaining. Wolford then scored the tie breaking goal and recorded her 46 goal of the season.
Off a free position shot, Robert Morris tied the score again 11-11 with seven minutes left in regulation. Sklar then scored to give the Golden Flashes a lead again, but the Colonials were able to score two more goals.
Up next, Kent State travels to Akron to take on the School Down The Road on Wednesday, April 19 at 7 p.m.
